Our Latest Email update sent to patients on 19/07/20

Dear patients and clients of Health and Wellness Centre Cheltenham,
 

How is everybody?

Michelle and I are doing our best to ensure that everyone is still able to access treatments during lockdown and as always, in the safest and most professional way possible.

Luckily we were already moving to the next stage of our policies and procedures relating to Covid-19 measures prior to the announcement of mandatory face masks and travel restrictions that was made today.  

We would like everyone to note that you are allowed to travel for medical appointments outside of your post codes.  You can use the SMS that we send as an appointment reminder to verify your appointment to police if you are pulled over.  

You will notice a few additional changes when heading into the clinic and in the waiting room. 

Firstly there are notices on the entry door requesting that only patients enter the clinic.  We are also requesting that all patients are wearing face masks prior to entry.  Please only have the patient with an appointment enter the clinic, unless the patient is a minor or requires a carer.

If your appointment is before Thursday 23rd July 2020 and you do not have a face mask, can you please call 0421 561 117 prior to entering the clinic and Michelle will bring out a single use face mask for you.  

Secondly, there is a new automatic hand sanitising dispenser in the waiting room.  Please use this before you sit down or touch anything!

Thirdly, I am working, just remotely! So if you have any issues please call 0421 561 117 during normal business hours and I am always happy to help with anything clinic related or even to have a chat if you like!

Lastly, Michelle is hesitant to let me add this but I think its necessary:

 

To ensure we can follow our procedures we request that all patients arrive 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Not before, and definitely not after!

 

Any patient arriving later than their scheduled appointment start time will need to reschedule their appointment.  Otherwise Michelle will not be able to provide an adequate treatment along with cleaning the treatment room between patients.

 

Traditionally patients running late for appointments is the main reason why Michelle runs behind schedule and she also likes to not leave any patient still needing therapy. 

 

I understand some patients have more complex needs, so if you require more time than our standard appointment, have a complex injury or more than one injury, please book either a long subsequent consultation or more than one session.

 

If you are unsure of whether you need a longer appointment or more appointments, please feel free to discuss with Michelle during your next appointment.
